This adorable bungalow is quaint and cozy. It is a small, fully self contained single family house. It is simply on a smaller scale than your typical home.When you first enter the cottage you notice the soft grey porcelain tile floor and the open floor plan. The living, dining and kitchen are all one large room. The kitchen has full size appliances. It has a gas stove, refrigerator and a microwave. The living room has a black leather sofa, with a new HD 1080 flat screen tv. The dining area features a table which is an ice cream parlor table and it has four chairs. The bathroom, which was completely renovated in 2012 features a modern, clean, crisp glass shower. It has a small vanity with a sink and of course, a toilet.Right outside the bathroom door is a washer and dryer. These units are stacked so they take up less space. The washing machine is a high efficiency front loading machine. The dryer is gas and operates well. Hanging in the corner, on the wall near the washer and dryer is the "on demand" hot water heater. You will never run out of hot water and Milford has incredible water pressure which you will appreciate when showering. The oversize furnace lives in the attic of this house.The bedroom is off the living area. It is a large bedroom and features two queen size beds and two four foot long closets. The bedroom floor is wall to wall carpet. Between the two beds is a round table. There is also a TV in the bedroom which sits on top of a tall dresser.The Rose Bud is rented with the Sea Rose from May until August as they share the same small piece of heaven on Long Island Sound. From September through April it can be rented short term. Please review our calendar for availability.

Cars are the best way to get around locally. Milford does have a train station with an express to NYC taking approx 1.5 hrs.
GUESTS MUST RECYCLE ! Milford is very strict regarding recycling.
Each Guest must be willing to sign our rental agreement.We have a book in each home that provides Basic information about the house and the area ~ the wifi password, what day the trash is picked up ~ all types of useful information!
